Manchester law firm Slater Heelis advises GlobalAcorn on MAC Clinical Research partnership
Manchester-based law firm, Slater Heelis LLP, has advised biopharmaceutical company, GlobalAcorn, on its partnership with contract clinical researcher, MAC Clinical Research.
The companies have developed a strategic alliance to develop products for the treatment of chronic pain and contrast-based magnetic resonance imaging for neurologic disorders.

Simon Wallwork, partner at Slater Heelis LLP, advised on the Agreement. He said: “Both GlobalAcorn and MAC have built an impressive reputation in the pharmaceutical sector.
“The companies are perfectly placed to partner each other and I’m sure that the products they create will have an extremely positive impact, not only on the market, but on the patients who use them.”
Dr. Paul Spence, GlobalAcorn’s CEO, said: “I am extremely pleased with this agreement, as the clinical development of these products is now in the safest possible hands with MAC and we can work together to fulfil important unmet needs within the healthcare industry
