Darlington based Mowden Park secures partnership with ESRG Group
Darlington based Mowden Park is delighted to announce a high profile finance group as its new community scheme sponsor.
ESRG Group specialise in a vast range of financial services offering independent and integrated financial structuring. It has been linked to a number of significant investment projects in the region and views Mowden as the ideal partner.
Commenting on the new partnership, ESRG Group managing director, David Evans said: “We are delighted to be entering into this partnership. Over the coming years we are looking forward to bringing our expertise and support into the development of what is an exceptionally exciting scheme.”
He went on to say: “The inclusive aims of the Mowden Park community scheme - to create a lasting legacy for sport, education and training, health, social cohesion and help on employment- are aims shared by ESRG.
“As a group we currently have interest in a number of sizeable projects across the North East. The Mowden Park community scheme represents a fantastic vehicle for us to support these with supplementary positive impacts.’’
Through its existing community schemes over the last five years, the high-flying club has already influenced more than 50,000 people, and this deal will give it the opportunity to build on this and create new jobs.
Lee Rust, managing director at Mowden Park said: “We are thrilled to have secured this partnership, it’s another mile stone for us.
“The investment will significantly enhance our community schemes. New full time roles will be funded with delivery across an array of projects which will benefit the club and local region.”
