DoubleTree by Hilton Liverpool appoints sales manager
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Liverpool and management company Interstate Europe Hotels and Resorts announced today the appointment of Nicola Myers as sales manager of the Grade II listed hotel.
Formerly head of partner experience at Liverpool Football Club, Myers joins Terence Southward, newly appointed general manager to DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Liverpool, ahead of the opening in April 2015.
Myers is keen to transfer her award winning commercial skills from the football pitch to the hotel sector. Notably responsible for the creation of the partnership events team for Liverpool Football Club’s main sponsor, reporting directly to the commercial director at LFC, Myers has managed some of the highest value sponsor relationships in the football industry with great success. A winner in the BT Sport Industry Awards, North West Football Awards and finalist in The Football Business Awards, Myers is locally and internationally recognised for selling and delivering first class corporate hospitality and representing the City of Liverpool at a number of global sporting events.

Speaking about her new appointment, Nicola Myers said, “Joining DoubleTree by Hilton Liverpool’s team to open this hotel is such a privilege. In my time at LFC I was showcasing and selling Liverpool to a global market, and I’m excited to do the same here whilst representing another highly successful and internationally recognizable brand.
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Liverpool has undergone a complex restoration that is almost complete. The hotel, comprising of two Grade II listed buildings with historical significance to the city, boasts an upscale interior with breathtaking architecture. Original features have been restored taking the building back to its former grandeur, dating back to 1883 when the site was the home of the Liverpool Conservative Club.
The hotel will feature a range of standard bedrooms, deluxe bedrooms, executive rooms, junior suites and presidential suite. Large function spaces and meeting rooms will sit alongside the recently announced Jean Christophe Novelli at Michelle restaurant.
