Take on the Morris Lubricants Versimax Challenge

Morris Lubricants is marking its return to the CV Show by launching its new range of heavy duty diesel engine oil products.

Versimax, a name which combines the versatility and maximum quality on offer, will comprise seven products and will help reaffirm the position of the Shrewsbury-based business as one of the leading manufacturers of lubricants for the commercial vehicle sector.

As well as being at the forefront of the UK market, Morris Lubricants also exports to more than 80 countries, including Australia and New Zealand.

To celebrate the Versimax launch, one of the attractions at the Morris Lubricants stand at the CV Show will be the Versimax Challenge, offering fleet operators the chance to see if they are able to reduce costs and lubricant stock holding.

A report will be produced detailing if the correct specification of oil is being used with alternatives suggested for grade consolidation.

Morris Lubricants marketing manager Craig Bastable said: “We’re delighted to be exhibiting at the CV Show for the first time in more than a decade. The commercial vehicle sector is one in which we are very strong and have seen significant growth, and we are delighted to have recently become members of the Road Haulage Association.

“We are looking forward to inviting people to take on the Versimax Challenge, giving those that operate small, medium or large fleets the opportunity to alleviate their engine oil headaches.

“It’s a great opportunity for fleet owners to get one-to-one specialist advice directly from people who formulate the lubricants and deal directly with OEMs.

“We know the huge problems fleet owners have with so many different grades of oil for each vehicle. It might well be that we are able to highlight instances where the incorrect lubricants and help consolidate their inventory and use fewer products which, over a period of time, will produce significant savings.”

The first 100 people to take on the Versimax Challenge will receive a pair of free tickets to a British Truck Racing Association meeting of their choice during the 2015 season, which runs from April to November.
