Mobile Mini UK increases annual income by 10%
Mobile Mini, a leading provider of portable accommodation and secure storage solutions, has ambitious plans to grow within the retail sector in the UK, while still focusing on core industries such as construction, as it announces a 9.6% global increase in annual income for 2014.
The company currently has a 367 strong UK workforce at its headquarters in Stockton on Tees and sixteen depots across the country, from Glasgow to Gravesend.
Focusing on its core industries, especially construction and manufacturing, as well as growing sectors such as retail and education, the company will continue to invest in, and grow, Mobile Mini’s existing UK fleet of more than 37,000 portable accommodation and storage units.
With an excellent safety record to build on and a first class service record across a variety of industries, Managing Director Chris Morgan, has already strengthened the Mobile Mini team in the UK, with key appointments in Sales, Training, Marketing and Product Development.
Construction will remain a vital sector for the company as the industry continues to grow and turn a corner out of recession. Mobile Mini offer a competitive edge to the construction industry, with an ‘Elite’ range to meets the needs of companies who are becoming more energy efficient, reducing carbon footprint with features including timed heaters and lights, double glazed windows and systems to save water.
Chris Morgan commented: “2014 was a record year for Mobile Mini, with global sales up 9.6% in 2014 and total revenues up 10.0% year on year here in the UK. It’s been a record year for safety too and we continue to build on our strong reputation in this area.
“The number of sectors we can operate in is growing significantly and we’re particularly focused on growing our presence within the retail and education sectors, as well as maintaining our core industries like construction.”
