Leeds’ Blue Logic sees 28% increase in profits in one year
Leeds-based IT solutions provider, Blue Logic, has reported another successful year, achieving a 28% increase in profit and taking on 11 additional staff to service its rapidly growing client roster.
The business also increased its turnover by £1.28 million to £5.8 million in 2014 – up 36% on 2013. and invested in a 1,200 ft extension to house its growing team.
Following the success of 2014, the business is already set for a strong 2015, having already added nine new clients to its portfolio since the start of its financial year on January 1, 2015.
Dave Helm, Blue Logic’s director, said: “2014 has been one of our most successful years yet and we’re delighted with the results. At the start of the year we set out to achieve a £1 million increase in turnover and to over-achieve it by £280k is testament to the quality of the solutions we provide to clients and the hard work of our highly skilled team.
“The next 12 months will see us building upon this success by continuing to invest heavily in staff training to ensure the highest quality skills set and the addition of new IT services.
“These will include the introduction of a mobile security solution for tablets, smart phones and end points, a new Cloud-as-a-Service solution and a new IT support package for businesses with over 50 employees who require a part time on-site IT manager.
“Additionally, we`re in the process of developing other services that will further set us apart and make us unique in the Yorkshire market.”
In total, Blue Logic added 83 new clients to its portfolio over 2014, with key wins including Leeds-based law firm Clarion, Provenance Inns, York Museum Trust and The Ridings Shopping Centre.
