Wakefield industrial hire firm gets an acquisition boost from Irish parent Siteserv

Irish firm Siteserv, an infrastructure company has acquired P.D.C. Utility Services Ltd (PDC), a tower painting and maintenance company for its Wakefield subsidiary.

The Leeds-based corporate team of national law firm Watson Burton has advised on the deal.

PDC, which has more than 30 years’ experience, will form part of Siteserv’s industrial division, Deborah Services Limited - DSL.

This acquisition, signals growth for the Wakefield-headquartered DSL and strengthens its industrial services offering.

Watson Burton advised on the deal, supporting Siteserv’s in-house legal team in its assessment and due diligence of PDC, and drafting the principle documents for the transaction which was completed within a tight timescale.

DSL managing director, Chris Foulkes, said: “There is a close strategic fit between PDC and DSL. Both companies have a strong corporate culture, adhere to strict health and safety standards, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.

“DSL’s growth is motivated by the desire to provide clients with a world class service, and the acquisition of PDC will continue to expand our service offering.

“PDC will continue to operate under its current name and will be part of DSL’s industrial services division. The acquisition will have no impact on the daily operations of DSL and there will be no change to management”
