Gateshead-based United Carlton celebrates tenth year of consecutive growth
United Carlton, a Gateshead-based print services company, are looking to continue their impressive record of success into 2015, after recording another consecutive year of growth following a series of long-term contract wins.
The firm, which employs more than 100 people across the country with regional offices in York and Warrington, reported a significant increase in turnover, rising from £11.2m in 2011 to £15m in 2014, with further growth projected for this year.
A number of high-value contract wins, including Sage and The Labour Party, added to United Carlton’s existing client base of more than 4000 accounts nationwide, including many of the North East’s Top 200 companies and several of the region’s local authorities.
Managing Director John Watson said: “2014 was our 10th year of consecutive growth, which is fantastic news for our company, employees, customers and everyone connected to our business”.
“Year-on-year, we have seen our turnover rise, thanks to an equal focus of offering excellent service, maintaining existing client relationships and winning new business - all of which has resulted in an increased demand for our expertise in the managed print services market.
“We provide total print management for our customers and have in-depth experience of working with clients to identify areas of improved productivity and economy, before implementing a low-maintenance and environmentally-friendly solution.”
John added: “We have spent many years building our presence and reputation in the North East and we intend to expand our brand throughout the UK, continuing to reap the rewards of offering reliable, cost-effective and high-quality goods and services.
“We work with prestigious and well-known brands, such as Toshiba and Sharp, to provide the best for our customers. Our continued investment in infrastructure, along with our well-trained team of service engineers, ensures our customer retention remains enviably high.
“Each of these factors and the dedication of our staff have contributed to our ongoing success and we now intend to continue with our plans for further growth, UK expansion and job creation in 2015.”
