Sizmek announces senior promotions to drive EMEA expansion
Sales acceleration plan identifies key talent, promotes accountability, and increases product focus
Sizmek (NASDAQ:SMK), an open ad management company for multiscreen campaigns, today announced the promotion of two key executives, strengthening Sizmek’s rapidly growing European sales team as part of a global acceleration plan.
Ben Walmsley has been promoted to Regional Vice President for Northern Europe and will play an instrumental role in the on-going growth in the region. Over the past four years, Walmsley has worked across different teams including business development, publisher and partner management, and has led the UK market for the last year. His skills have led to increases in new business and closer collaboration across all global teams based in London. As a result, Walmsley is ideally placed to support Sizmek’s growing client base in the UK and Europe.
Dominique Blanc has been promoted from Managing Director for France to Regional Vice President of France and Spain. Blanc has been with Sizmek for five years and has greatly developed the French team and market, making strong 2014 gains in the mobile and video sectors. His leadership has been pivotal in forging global relationships and his southern European experience will enable him to effectively support the team in Spain.
“At the heart of the plan is an effort to identify key talent within the organization while promoting and driving accountability,” said Chief Revenue Officer of Sizmek, Liz Ritzcovan. “We are capitalizing on our global footprint, our product expertise and equally as important, the service our customers want to help drive exponential performance. The changes will provide us with flexibility, faster go-to-market and ultimately accelerate revenue growth.”
