Datorama names leaders in NA, EMEA and APAC
In order to meet rapidly growing demand, marketing intelligence leader Datorama has brought in Jared Hand to serve as SVP of sales, North America, and has promoted Nitzan Yaniv to managing director of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Mick O’Brien to managing director of Asia and Pacific (APAC).
As he supervises a growing sales team, Hand will simultaneously increase the number and quality of Datorama’s relationships with product brands. Hand joins Datorama from Beanstock Media, which had acquired Onswipe, where Hand had likewise served as CRO. Yaniv has been Datorama’s U.K. managing director since 2013, and will now expand his purview to the entire region. O’Brien, who formerly managed operations for Eyeblaster and MediaMind (now Sizmek) in Asia and North America, will help expand Datorama’s presence throughout Asia — particularly in Japan, China, Hong Kong and Singapore — even as he helps regional advertisers better understand the effects of their trans-national marketing activities.
“Demand is so strong at the enterprise level that we needed to bring Jared in,” said Datorama CEO Ran Sarig. “His deep experience both working closely with Fortune 500 brands and building sales organizations will serve Datorama’s growth well. Nitzan and Mick have built strong relationships with agencies and brands in Europe and Asia. They know how to help local media channels aggregate, clean, analyze and present otherwise-siloed data in a comprehensive way that can really help those channels grow.”
As data becomes increasingly complex, Hand, Yaniv and O’Brien seek to help their clients on a strategic level. Datorama’s marketing intelligence platform informs marketing decisions not only for media, but across all channels.
