Cast your vote for wildlife

The Royal Society for Wildlife Trusts (RSWT), which includes Northumberland Wildlife Trust, has been shortlisted to become Dobbies charity of the year for their 150th anniversary.

The three shortlisted charities: RSWT, Trees for Cities and Gardening Leave will now enter a public vote which goes live on Monday 9th March at noon.

Voting can be done in store or online here www.dobbies.com/150thvotenow

The successful charity will benefit from £50k raised from Dobbies’ fundraising events which will take place in June.

Dobbies 35 stores are spread across the country including one in Ponteland.

The funding will allow Northumberland Wildlife Trust (as it has a Dobbies in its membership area) to work with local schools and spread the word about wildlife conservation in Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside.
