Darlington Building Society expands to Linthorpe Road
Darlington Building Society is moving its Middlesbrough branch to newly-refurbished premises in the heart of the town centre.
Its long-established Corporation Road branch will close at twelve noon on Saturday, 18 April 2015 and the new branch at 47 Linthorpe Road, opposite the Cleveland Shopping Centre, will open at 9.00 am on Monday 20 April.
Louise Thorpe, branch manager of the new Society branch said: “We are constantly trying to improve the customer experience and we are positive that the new branch will be well received as the design and layout has already proved successful at the Society’s Darlington Tubwell Row and Stockton on Tees branches.
“Our customers tell us they really appreciate the personal service they receive at our existing Middlesbrough branch so we were keen to retain that personal approach following the move. We also wanted the branch to be as convenient as possible for our customers and 47 Linthorpe Road offered the perfect location.
“We have written personally to all of our customers who have used the Middlesbrough branch over the past two years to advise them of the move and invited them to our new branch following 20 April.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming customers old and new to this fantastic new facility which will be a credit to Middlesbrough town centre.”
