Doncaster firm gets tech upgrade from Yorkshire IT specialists

Doncaster-based facilities management company, 8Point8, has had an office technology overhaul thanks to Yorkshire IT specialists, ANEW Solutions.

The business, which was founded in 2010, went to Doncaster-based ANEW Solutions for technical support during an office move due to team growth.

The business now employs around 75 members of staff – around a third of which are office based.

ANEW not only masterminded the IT migration, but also provided 8Point8 with a complete IT upgrade, installing broadband, voice and data cabling, access control, CCTV, security alarms, telecoms, WiFi and networking.

The upgrade ensured that the system is the latest technology and able to accommodate further business growth and the demands of remote working.

Martin Debnam, managing director of 8Point8, explained: “ANEW’s services have been brilliant, the process from start to finish was seamless, with just a few hours downtime during the move.

Andrew Sterling, managing director of Anew Solutions, said: “The 8Point8 team moved across to their new office and the server then followed shortly after – minimal data downtime and no telecoms downtime - that’s the beauty of a cloud based VOIP telephone system; this allowed the business to be back up and running very quickly , which resulted in a very happy client.”
