Morgan Sindall awarded £4bn Southern Construction Framework contract
Morgan Sindall Group plc, a London-based construction and regeneration group, are among several firms to win a place on the Southern Construction Framework, which is valued at £4bn over a four-year period.
The Southern Construction Framework, which aims to obtain building projects worth over £1 million for any public body in the South of England, was jointly established by Hampshire County Council, Devon County Council, and Haringey Council.
Specialising in the sectors education, health and community, the framework will be used as a vehicle for obtaining a full range of new build and refurbishment schemes.
Morgan Sindall plc, which has revenues of £2bn, has been placed on all three of the frameworks, with projects beginning in value of £1m and above.
The framework is scheduled to be operational by summer 2015 and is set to supersede the iESE (Improvement & Efficiency South East) framework, the Construction Framework South West (CFSW), and the London Construction Programme.
John Morgan, Chief Executive, Morgan Sindall Group plc said: “Our appointment on the Southern Construction Framework is a key development for Morgan Sindall plc, as our construction and infrastructure division continues to deliver high-quality and exciting projects.
“We are pleased to have secured a place on the framework, and look forward to positively impacting local communities and public bodies across the South of England as a procurement partner.”
