Sheffield company brings pioneering hand-drying technology to the UK

A Sheffield-based hand dryer company has landed exclusive rights to launch a pioneering “germ destroying” technology in this country for the first time.

Large public buildings such as airports, schools, hospitals, restaurants and food service organisations will be the first sectors to be introduced to the advanced hygiene system.

American Dryer (UK) - a trading name of Sheffield-based Intelligent Sourcing Systems Ltd – currently has a 99.6 per cent success rate in the eradication of germs, including norovirus and influenza, while using Cold Plasma Clean (cPc®) technology.

The innovative technology , which initially debuted in the high-speed eXtremeAir CPC model across European, is being launched by American Dryer (UK) - who originally its patented cPc® technology in the US in November 2013.

Sheffields’ Intelligent Sourcing Systems Ltd, which is based at Electric Works, hold exclusive rights to American Dryer products in the UK and has hand dryers located across the region including Ponds Forge, City Hall, Motorpoint arena, EIS, The new technology college and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
