Chesterfield chip shop expand their plaice with help from Natwest
Chester’s Restaurant and Takeaway in Chesterfield has expanded and refurbished with funding from Natwest, a move that will see the creation of 4 more jobs.
The fish and chip shop opened three years ago and currently employ 16 people.
The extension has seen seating increase from 65 to 130, and has also seen a new children’s play area and barbecue installed in the garden of the property.
Chester’s Restaurant and Takeaway is run by Chris Ioannides who said: “We are committed to providing a high quality sustainable product that is always fresh.
“As we serve fresh fish this sometimes means we are not open over holiday periods like Christmas when the suppliers we use are not operating.
“We want to ensure we are providing a high quality product to all customers at all times.”
NatWest relationship manager Julie Jones obtained a loan as part of the bank’s involvement in the Government-backed Funding for Lending programme.
Julie said: “I was delighted to support Chris and Chester’s Restaurant and Takeaway on the expansion.
“It’s a great business that has developed a strong customer base and I wish the business every success for the future.”
