Business Central Darlington welcomes first tenant

Business Central Darlington has welcomed its first tenant, PR and social media agency Harvey & Hugo, to the building.

Business Central will open its doors on 7th April, located in the Central Park Enterprise Zone, Darlington.

The North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) is working with Darlington Borough Council and the £6.6m project has been supported with funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the Homes and Communities Agency.

Harvey & Hugo MD Charlotte Nichols, said: “We love being in the centre of town, however wanted to move to a more modern and social office space and we were really impressed when we saw the plans for Business Central.

“As an active team our staff are hoping to run and cycle to work now that we’ll be working somewhere with shower facilities.

“We’re all really excited to move in and to work while enjoying the fabulous views over there.”

Centre manager, Vanessa Wood added:“I am thrilled to welcome our first tenants, Harvey & Hugo to Business Central.

“The first of many tenants that will create a bustling business community and I am looking forward to seeing this building flourish.

“This has been a collaborative project and I would like to thank the partners involved at Darlington Council and HCA helping to bring the building from a blueprint to life.”
