Chester communications firm acquires significant stake in Pure IT
Chester business communications firm, Pescado, has expanded its IT offering with its acquisition of Pure IT.
Pescado has taken a significant shareholding in Pure IT, which is also based in the city.
Pure will significantly enhance Pescado’s existing IT offer which includes network design and build, support, datacentre services, Microsoft Office 365, data back-up and disaster recovery.
Pure’s directors, Mark Hill and David Powell, along with the company’s five staff, will move into Pescado’s offices on the Park West Business Park from their previous base in Saltney later this month.
Pescado, which is on course to break the £9million turnover mark this year, provides businesses across the UK with communications services, mobile office and converged, IT and cloud services. Including the seven Pure IT staff, the company now employs 51 people.
Clients include national brands such as Crabtree & Evelyn, Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club and Lexmark International as well as established Chester businesses including Legat Owen and Cheshire Waste.
