Uniting Ambition grows IT recruitment arm
In further expansion for high-growth recruitment consultancy Uniting Ambition, additional senior hires have been made to strengthen capacity within the company’s niche IT recruitment division.
In February 2015, Uniting Ambition welcomed Phil Bills to its team as Account Delivery Manager. Having previously founded his own successful IT recruitment business in Crewe, Phil’s expertise is a significant asset to the company and has already resulted in 5 new client wins. To continue building momentum within the IT recruitment department, Steven Collins has also been hired into Uniting Ambition this week as Senior IT Consultant. Working to support Phil, Steven specialises in finding and retaining top tech talent and brings with him over 5 years’ industry experience.
Phil Bills comments: “Having worked with Steven previously, I am hugely excited about the prospect of combining our knowledge within Uniting Ambition. One of the reasons I joined the company was its strong reputation in the market for technical recruitment. With Steven’s support and the extensive knowledge of the team around me, I am optimistic about what the future will bring.”
Lisa Holmes, Director of IT recruitment at Uniting Ambition, adds: “These new additions to the team will be of substantial value to our company growth. We have a deep specialism for sourcing IT talent across both permanent and contracting roles, and our success in the field is fuelled by the quality of the people we hire.
“With Phil and Steven on board, our IT division is expanding through our Keele, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham offices – and we are always looking to add more top talent to the team. As the skills shortage continues to cause obstacles in the IT sector, we are committed to building a leading team of specialist consultants to ensure that our clients have the technical talent they need to grow.”
