Parseq announces employee education partnership in Sunderland

Leading business process outsourcer, Parseq, has announced a partnership with the skills provider, the National Sales Academy, which will enable each of its 900 contact centre employees in Sunderland to gain access to £3,000 worth of educational funding.

One of the largest employers in Sunderland, Parseq will trial the educational scheme with the National Sales Academy first in the North East and South Yorkshire, before it is rolled out across its London and Brighton sites making it available to more than 2,100 employees.

Designed to encourage more employees to gain nationally recognised qualifications in subjects such as business administration, customer services, sales and management, the initiative is being made available to all of Parseq’s employees who have been with the firm for at least six months and who currently don’t hold any higher or further education qualifications.

The firm which works on behalf of a third of UK’s utility sector, the top 10 international banks and a sizable proportion of the charity sector has announced a commitment to grow its business from turnover of £65 million to £100 million in just three years, with its recently acquired Sunderland operation being central to this goal.
