PM+M’s Kirsty Wright scoops Forward Ladies award

Blackburn headquartered PM+M – the leading chartered accountancy, business advisory and wealth management group – is delighted to report that Kirsty Wright has been named Personal Assistant Businesswomen of the Year at the prestigious Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards North West 2015.

Kirsty works alongside the firm’s managing partner Stephen Anderson, its lead tax partner Jane Parry and David Gorton, head of corporate services. Dedicated to training and professional development for women, Forward Ladies runs its awards programme to elevate and celebrate the achievements of trailblazing and pioneering business women. In particular, the awards recognise the vital economic contribution made by professional women to the UK economy.

The winners were announced at a ceremony at The Midland Hotel in Manchester on Friday 27th March. Attendees enjoyed a celebratory three course lunch and heard from keynote speaker Deidre Bounds who is an ethical entrepreneur, Channel4 TV presenter, best-selling author and a self-made multi-millionaire.

Kirsty said: “Winning the award was a real surprise but I was delighted when my name was read out. I love my job so receiving this accolade means an awful lot to me. I’d like to thank Forward Ladies for this acknowledgement as it does an amazing job in promoting and rewarding talented business women across the whole country.“

Stephen Anderson added: “Kirsty has become an intrinsic and much valued part of our business so we couldn’t be happier for her. We know how good she is at her job and it’s fantastic that her skills have been recognised by such a well known and much respected organisation.“
