Hebburn-based RDA builds on eight years of success

A growing restaurant design and installation firm is toasting the completion of more than 250 projects as it marks its eighth year in business.

Restaurant Design Associates (RDA), based in Hebburn, was set up in 2007 by directors Roy and Judith Addyman and has since become one of the UK’s leading design, supply and installation companies, specialising in the catering, hospitality and retail industries.

In the past eight years, the firm has worked with a diverse range of clients across the UK and abroad, including blue chip companies, universities, hospitals, contract caterers and conference centres, in projects totalling more than £40million.

RDA most recently renovated the catering areas within York Hospital, and has installed a restaurant within a renowned Welsh department store.

The firm has also secured a number of international contracts - including a catering project in the UAE- and employs a workforce of 15 designers, quantity surveyors, project managers, specialist consultants and site managers.

To celebrate the 250 project milestone, RDA has worked with South Shields-based creative design agency Urban River to launch an advanced website, as part of the firm’s rebranding process.

RDA’s clients can now log in to a dedicated member area of the site, where they can monitor the progress of their projects. Users can also browse RDA’s portfolio and keep up to date with the company’s latest news.

RDA’s managing director Roy Addyman said: “The fact that we’ve now passed the 250 project milestone is a very positive indication of our growing reputation on a local, national and international scale. We’re seeing a high level of repeat business from clients across the UK and abroad, who trust us to deliver consistently high standards of work on time and on budget.

“We’ve grown steadily since 2007, and we’re continuing to see enquiries pouring in - with almost 30 new business calls already this year – so we felt that the time was right to refresh our brand and build on our online presence.
