New Lobster recruit is catch of the day

Leeds-based electronic data interchange (EDI) specialist, Lobster, is expanding its UK team with the appointment of an internal sales and marketing executive.

The new role is being created in response to increasing interest in Lobster’s software from businesses wanting to exchange data electronically with their partners.

Sarah Langan from Chesterfield joins the firm to assist with general organisation and incoming enquiries, whilst also managing its English language website and social media presence. She worked most recently at Derbyshire County Council and has previous experience in recruitment and sales in the equestrian and media sectors.

Jeni Steele, Lobster’s head of UK, said: “Sarah has an excellent track record in both sales and marketing, which combined with her impressive organisational and communication skills make her a valuable addition to our team. We are gaining traction rapidly in the UK and expect this recent growth to continue, as increasing numbers of businesses recognise the time and cost savings our data integration technology offers, particularly to those switching from value added networks.”

Lobster’s flagship software, Lobster_data.wizard, enables companies to send and receive information in any format from suppliers, colleagues and clients without external intervention.
