New wave of recruits for Hartlepool water treatment specialists
Hartlepool-based Hydrochem, a water treatment specialist, has recruited four new members of staff.
Established in 1987, the company is now the longest serving water treatment company in the North East of England.
The firm, who boast clients including Bannatyne’s, Bourne Leisure and the Marriott Hotel chain, are enjoying a boom in business leading to the latest workforce expansion.
Engineers Dan Hodgkins, Craig Hay, Andrew Normanton and Trevor Coull are the new appointees, and will work under team leaders Lee Smith and John Thompson.
They have followed Gordon Gilbraith, who was appointed as sales and marketing manager in the middle of last year, and Hydrochem will be looking to make further additions to the staff in the weeks ahead.
The business specialises in inspecting water systems, diagnosing problems and then supplying solutions across the boilers, heaters, air conditioning units, pipeworks and other water-based equipment as well as the likes of swimming pools and spas.
General manager Linda Hannah said: “We have experienced rapid growth in recent months, and after spending a significant sum of money expanding our premises the next stage of our development was to add to the team.
“We have had a busy start to 2015, and we are confident it is going to be a successful period for us.
“We have secured several new contracts with some big clients, and we are delighted with the way the reputation of Hydrochem has grown.”
Hydrochem also uses the innovative Safe-Water facility, which has been devised to include risk assessment of Legionella and other bacterial issues.
