50 new jobs to be created in Peterlee as Albany Assistance launches recruitment drive
Peterlee based claims management company Albany Assistance, has launched a recruitment campaign set to create up to 50 new jobs in the Peterlee/East Durham area.
The recruitment drive comes in response to rapidly increasing business levels, requiring the company to expand its workforce at its operations centre based in Bracken Hill Business Park, Peterlee.
Over 65 new full time employees have joined the company since January 2015 and the new campaign aims to encourage more interest in the many anticipated roles available, including advisor, team manager and support roles.
Operations Director Susan Howe commented, “We have made a strategic commitment to the location of our operational centre here in the North East.
“We’re looking forward to continued growth and as a direct consequence, the need for an increasing number of high quality candidates to maintain service quality and the success of our growing business”.
Amongst other initiatives, Albany Assistance has teamed up with recruitment specialist Pertemps to assist with a number of recruitment activities including online advertising and social media campaigns.
The HR team also recently attended regional recruitment event, Shine at the Stadium of Light, speaking to and organising interviews with over 300 prospective candidates.
The event was the first opportunity for the company to showcase its new corporate image on promotional materials including a branded exhibition stand.
Peter Stabler, HR Manager said: “Events like these help with the high volume of recruitment we need to achieve as our business continues to grow, and we’re looking forward to finding talented people to join our team.”
Albany Assistance provides outsourced insurance claims services to major UK insurance providers and brokers. Their services include nationwide claims management, vehicle repair and vehicle replacements.
