Giddy up at Trattoria 51 before Aintree Races

One of Liverpool’s most popular Italian restaurants is preparing to serve a special Pre-Races Prosecco Breakfast.

Trattoria 51, located on Old Hall Street, will set Aintree racegoers up for the day by offering a range of freshly made ‘breakfast bites’ together with a glass of fizz, across the three-day sporting event (April 9-11).

From 7:30am guests will be treated to a breakfast buffet, which will feature a diverse assortment of dishes including a tasty egg, bacon and sausage variations, alongside a delicious continental selection such as Cinnamon Twirls, Triple Chocolate Muffins, Homemade Biscotti and Butter Pain Au Chocolat.

Restaurateur Attilio Sergi said: “Aintree Races is one of Liverpool’s biggest events throughout the year, which many people both local residents and tourists look forward to. Therefore, we want to get the celebrations started early and what better way to do so than amongst friends, food and fizz?

“Our celebratory Pre-Races Prosecco Breakfast will offer something a little bit special and is ideal for those wanting to start the exciting day with additional merriments.”

The Pre-Races breakfast follows the success of the restaurant’s newly established Caffe-Bar, which serves a range of barista-style hot beverages together with an assortment of breakfast light bites, homemade pastries, cakes and biscuits.

Attilio added: “We look forward to welcoming our customers and getting their day off to a winning start.

“As our prime location is just a stone throw from Moorfields Train Station, we are the perfect meeting place for both small and large parties of racegoers who want to enjoy a fantastic fizz breakfast before catching the train to Aintree.”

The Pre-Races Prosecco Breakfast is available on Thursday, 9 April, Friday, 10 April and Saturday, 11 April from 7:30am.
