Batley healthcare provider continues growth by launching new holding company
After seeing a 32% growth last year, Batley-based Essential Healthcare Solutions, a leading medical equipment and services provider, has announced the launch of a new holding company - Essential Group of Companies.
Essential Group of Companies is set to own a range of businesses that aim to provide a better care service across the UK, which includes training solutions, recruitment, care homes and quality products.
Essential Healthcare Solutions, which provides equipment to the NHS and care homes, will now become part of Essential Group of Companies.
Over the last 12 months, Essential Healthcare Solutions has made several changes to its business model with an aim of streamlining its product range and offer a more consultative approach to its customers.
This change has proved to be successful as the company has seen a significant growth with its turnover increasing from £1.6m to £2.2m, as well as the appointment of 11 new staff members.
The company aims to double its turnover in the next 12 months as it will work closely with the new companies within Essential Group of Companies.
Thomas Owens, managing director of Essential Healthcare Solutions, said: “2014 was an important year for us as we secured significant investment from the Leeds City Region Business Growth Programme and support from Kirklees Council, employed 11 new recruits and moved into our new state-of-the-art premises which will have its own training facility onsite. All this has set the foundation to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans for the next five years.
“Essential Group of Companies is the next step in this plan. In addition to Essential Healthcare Solutions, the group of companies will support the care industry no matter what the issue, with the sole aim of developing the perfect care environment.”
Essential Healthcare Solutions, established in 1999, provides an extensive range of products and care solutions to care homes, private individuals and the NHS that are designed to promote independent living and rehabilitation, from moving and handling solutions to furniture and aftercare.
