Public relations’ awards returns to Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has opened entries for its premier awards scheme recognising excellence in public relations and communications across the UK.
Now in their 12th year, the CIPR PRide Awards celebrate exceptional individual and collective talent, rewarding public relations best practice in nine UK regions. The 2015 CIPR PRide Awards deadline for entries is 10 June with late entries accepted until 17 June.
Over 1,000 entries from these regions and nations are judged by the highest calibre of experts, drawn from the very top of their fields.
Commenting on the announcement, committee Chairman Paul Amourdedieu, Senior Manager, PR & Social, TD Direct Investing, said: “The CIPR Yorkshire & Lincolnshire PRide Awards are an important celebration of best practice in public relations. Year on year we’ve seen an increase in both the number and standard of entries we receive - and the regions high quality is recognised across the UK.
Winning a PRide Award can have significant impact on an agency’s success - and can be a game-changer for many - as well as providing recognition for the calibre of in-house teams. It differentiates those who are at the top of their game from everyone else.“
Speaking about the agency’s gold win in 2014, Suzanne Watson, managing director of Ilkley based Approach PR, said: “To receive recognition for the team’s dedication and formidable expertise is a true honour for us all: it is an accolade which demonstrates Approach PR’s dynamic, creative and results-driven vision of what successful regional PR campaigns can look like.”
