Durham-based Digitia announces rebrand to IX7
Digital marketing agency, Digitia, has announced a rebrand. The Durham based company, which launched in 2011 relaunches this week as management consultancy IX7.
The decision to rebrand reportedly came as a result of the business’s growing proposition and is set to gear up the company for national expansion.
At the heart of the brand is a distinctive positioning, defined by driving business growth through collaborating with SMEs that are turning over between £1m - £20m. The new brand is said to reflect the company’s ambitions to grow nationally in partnership with its clients whilst offering a wider range of services.
The Seaham based company has also reported a growth in team size, and has restructured in alignment with its new services. IX7 has plans to recruit and double the size of the team later in the year.
Managing Director of IX7, Lisa Bean, commented: “Each year, we have tripled in size in terms of revenue, project size and team size, working with our clients, growing as they grow. Looking to 2015, we’re on track to increase seven-fold and we needed a brand that better reflected our size, ability and cross-sector presence.
“The move to a business management consultancy focused on business growth has been a natural progression for us, based on demands from our existing clients, and based on our progressive offering which seeks to ensure our clients grow sustainably from within. Digital marketing can only do so much and we want to help businesses effect change at every level of business.”
Sales and Marketing Manager, Daniel Jackson, added: “It’s been very exciting; the full team was involved in the rebrand process, including naming the company, and that reflects the culture of the business. It has helped to reposition us in the market, and will allow us to attract high calibre clients, working with them to grow.
“Because of our fast pace and rapid growth we can empathise with the growing pains that our current and potential clients are encountering, and we want to guide them through the process and accelerate business growth.”
IX7 has plans to open an office in Manchester in early May 2015 and has already commenced the hiring process for a number of positions, including a Graphic Designer, Web Developer, Account Executive and Lead Business Consultant.
