Knight Frank appointed to market No 1 Leeds

The Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank has been appointed the sole marketing agents at No 1 Leeds in Whitehall Road.

Eamon Fox, partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, specialising in office agency, commented: “This is a very prestigious appointment for Knight Frank, marketing one of the finest office buildings in the city.

“No 1 Leeds already boasts some high-profile occupiers, including Yorkshire Post Newspapers, energy company GDF and marketing specialists Gratterpalm. These occupiers underpin the quality of the building and its excellent location.

“It has an enviable combination of low running costs, high-tech features, quality design and superb office space. It is also one of the most energy efficient buildings in Leeds with a higher than normal occupational density, so the occupier saves money from the outset.

“There is currently 8,314 sq ft of prime office space available on the third floor and 2,750 sq ft available on the first floor,” said Mr Fox. “There are a number of good quality requirements in the market and it is only a matter of time before the building is fully let,” he added.

Anthony Bull-Diamond, Investment Manager with IVG UK, the owners of No I Leeds, said: “We are delighted to welcome Eamon Fox and Knight Frank on board as sole marketing agents. Their knowledge of the office market in the city is extensive, while their experience and expertise will prove invaluable in attracting quality new occupiers to No 1 Leeds”.

No 1 Leeds is a prestigious 122,000 sq ft office space located at the heart of the Leeds city centre, the UK’s largest centre for business, legal and financial services outside London. Located just nine minutes’ walk from Leeds train station, the building is rated as BREAAM ‘Excellent’ and enjoys some of the most up-to-date security features on the market.

This is the fifth new office agency instruction Knight Frank has been awarded in as many weeks.
