Liverpool Waters appoint OCD Events for events campaign
Liverpool Waters has appointed OCD Events to help support with their busy events programme.
Liz D, director at OCD Events, will help coordinate Liverpool Waters’ business-to-business events calendar including the Dragon Boat racing at Princes Dock as well as supporting consumer events taking place in Liverpool Waters such as music festival Sound City at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Her events career spans over 16 years, having worked for businesses including Liverpool Vision, Everton Football Club and Tranmere Rovers Football Club.
Liz is a current member of the Spark Up campaign, a 20-week programme set up by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce to encourage and inspire entrepreneurial thinking.
Ian Pollitt, investment development surveyor at the Peel Group and current board member of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are delighted to be working with Liz and her team, especially during this very busy time. When we were looking for a business to work with, the excellent work she has done on the Spark Up programme stood out to me.
“Liz brings a wealth of experience when it comes to these types of events having worked for some of the city’s most influential companies. She is a fantastic asset to have on board.”
Jenny Stewart, chief executive of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, added: “OCD’s appointment to work with Peel represents everything we wanted to achieve with the Spark Up campaign; helping people to build up their business, putting them in contact with key influencers across the region and then encouraging them to do business.”
