ABP digs deep to raise funds for charity
Staff at ABP Wessex paid a visit to Zoe’s Place in Middlesborough recently to donate £1,000 to the children’s home. Zoe’s Place provides palliative and respite care to babies and infants up to five years old.
The children’s hospice receives little government funding, so therefore relies on donations from the public. The £1,000 donation will go toward the £1.2million that is needed each year to keep the doors of the hospice open to local families who rely on the expert care of Zoe’s Place staff.
Amy Witham, Financial Controller at ABP Wessex, commented: “We’re always keen to help out local charities wherever we can. Zoe’s Place is an incredible charity that does amazing work for local families who have children with life-shortening or life-threatening conditions. Seeing the work that they do was incredibly humbling and we’re really pleased that our donation will go towards keeping the doors of the hospice open to those families in need.”
