Circus-themed tech company expands at Liverpool Science Park with 10 new jobs
An education software company has almost doubled its office space at Liverpool Science Park.
Angel Solutions has increased its turnover by 35% over the last two years and is in the process of recruiting up to ten new staff after taking on a number of new projects in recent months.
The company, which has been based at Liverpool Science Park since it opened ten years ago, provides education management software to every local authority in England, as well as thousands of schools and educational establishments in the UK and overseas.
Their latest expansion sees their unique circus-themed office – complete with gypsy caravan, fairground mirrors, popcorn machine, mini grandstand and drinks bar – move into a further 2,000 sq ft. of space to take up a complete wing of ic1.
Explaining the office setting, chief executive of Angel Solutions, Andy Kent, said: “The circus theme of our office truly reflects our work ethos. It’s all about talented people training and working hard to impress people with our skills. We want the people we work with to be wowed by our software and by the service and support they receive.
“It’s a really exciting time for Angel Solutions and we are busier than ever. Every month we’re seeing new education establishments using our programmes and we launched several new applications last year, which is why we are looking to increase our team.
“We’re also taking on a large-scale national project this year, so felt that it was the right time for us to extend our office space in order to be able to deliver the best service to our clients.
“Our bigger office space is a reflection on the growth that we’ve experienced over the last few years – something we are extremely proud of as we work in an incredibly competitive industry.”
Chief executive of Liverpool Science Park, Chris Musson, said: “Angel Solutions is an outstanding and innovative Liverpool technology business.
“We’re proud to have watched them grow and thrive at the science park, alongside fellow knowledge intensive companies.”
