Dulux Decorator Centre launches Visualizer App

Dulux Decorator Centre has launched a new visualizer app, to provide painters and decorators with a host of tools and information on-the-go, for easy purchases and access to the latest special offers. The app also includes the new and exclusive ‘Visualizer’ functionality, to help create inspirational living spaces using colour.

By seamlessly linking to their Dulux Decorator Centre account, painters and decorators can easily purchase paints and supplies from the app while on the job, as well as tap into current special offers. Orders placed via the app have the option to either click and collect or arrange a free delivery. Plus, the app also has an in-built store locator feature.

Launched to tie in with Dulux Decorator Centre’s ‘30% off colour’ offer running until 30th April, the app has been designed to promote colour confidence and help make a professional first impression. Through the app, painters and decorators have direct access to the full colour trade palette, as well as the entire portfolio of Dulux trade paints, wall coverings, woodcare, and accessories.

The Visualizer app uses augmented reality to quickly test different colour schemes, allowing homeowners to virtually paint the walls and see finished rooms on screen before starting to decorate. Using the in-built app function, users can scan in any coloured item to help select the three closest Dulux trade colours to test out.

Charlotte Coleman, Digital Marketing Manager at Dulux Decorator Centre, comments, “Following the success of the original Dulux app for homeowners, we wanted to create a similar app for professional painters and decorators, that could make their jobs easier. We’ve also introduced the e-commerce function so that users can virtually test different products and then buy them straightaway. It’s simple and quick to use, and from our feedback from painters and decorators, this added functionality can really save time, while helping homeowners to bring out the true potential of their living spaces.”

Available for free for both Apple and Android devices, the app is now available to be downloaded from the Apple and Play stores.
