The Loop forms partnership with Manchester’s newest datacentre
LDeX Group has today announced that Manchester’s fibre network, The Loop, will connect to the city’s newest datacentre facility, LDeX2, based in Trafford Park. This partnership means LDeX2 is ‘plugged in’ to The Loop, enabling significant diverse fibre connectivity.
Part of Gamma Communications PLC, The Loop provides dedicated fibre networks, point to point private networks, flexible high-capacity internet access and business grade IP Telephony.
Commenting on the news, LDeX Group CEO Rob Garbutt said: “We are delighted that The Loop has decided to add our newest datacentre facility, LDeX2, to its existing list of Manchester datacentres. Aligning the company with best in class communications service providers such as The Loop is a priority for LDeX in delivering superior value added datacentre and network services to our customers.”
He added “With The Loop’s fibre footprint in Manchester in excess of 100km, this strategic partnership will enable LDeX to provide ultra-fast low latency connectivity to businesses via its metropolitan fibre optic network which links major commercial points in the region.”
