Tommy Rosen showcases book launch at The Brink
Liverpool’s only dry bar and restaurant The Brink has welcomed the inspirational LA author Tommy Rosen as part of his global book launch.
The popular Parr Street social initiative played host to the exclusive event, which showcased the thought-provoking autobiography, Recovery 2.0. Exploring Tommy’s background as a certified Vinyasa Flow and Kundalini Yoga teacher, as well as his experiences within the 12-step programme – the book offers an insight into Tommy’s personal recovery from addictions over the past 23 years.
General Manager at The Brink Carl Bell said: “It was an honour to have such an inspirational individual offer his spiritual and scientific expertise and show his support to our venue.
“Tommy has created a fantastic book for all members of the recovery community, whether it be for those in remission, those supporting a loved one who may be caught up in addiction or those working in the field of recovery – the book offers a refreshing perspective into detoxification and positive life transformation.“
Throughout the day Tommy offered his advice to guests at The Brink, talking to those affected by alcoholism and addiction and gave individuals a chance to ask questions before signing copies of the book.
Carl added: “To offer guests a more powerful insight into Tommy’s suggested daily mind-body practices in breathing, meditation, and yoga – we also teamed up with Estelle Cartlidge and all our friends at Bikram Yoga Liverpool to offer book supporters a one-off two hour yoga session with Tommy.
“We hope that those who attended the book launch feel moved and inspired by Tommy’s fresh-thinking and holistic outlook. Recovery 2.0 is a great read and will undoubtedly prove to be a helpful tool to aid those on their road to recovery.“
