Last chance to buy in Portishead
Time is running out to buy a brand new apartment in Portishead.
That’s the advice from Persimmon Homes Severn Valley as the housebuilder reports a strong interest in its Aurora development with 50% of the properties sold within just two days of launching.
Situated close to Portishead’s Port Marine, the block of just 23 one and two-bedroom apartments offers prospective buyers the chance to enjoy waterside living. This is the last chance for buyers to purchase a property in the highly sought after area and follows on from the success of the first block released last October.
Nicola Reed, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes Severn Valley, said: “These stunning new apartments at Aurora have appealed to those looking for modern, contemporary living including young professionals, couples and investors alike.
“Launched at Easter, we had a fantastic weekend in which we were able to sell 50% of all the properties in just two days, so we don’t expect the remaining properties to be on the market long. We would therefore urge anyone thinking of a move to come and see one of our experienced sales advisors before it’s too late.”
One of the many reasons demand has been so high is down to the success of Help to Buy. Under the Government-backed scheme, buyers only need to find a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage. The rest is provided in the form of an equity loan, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.
Aurora is perfectly placed for anyone looking for a new home within a vibrant setting with shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep and being within walking distance of the centre of Portishead, with its friendly community spirit.
