Bolton-based Seddon wins double framework worth millions
Bolton-based builder and developer Seddon could be in line for millions of pounds worth of work after a double framework win from Fusion21.
This means the construction company will deliver projects for local authorities and social housing providers across the UK.
Seddon is one of seven to be appointed to the high-rise refurbishment framework, which could see £300 million of work released over the next four years, and is one of 14 to be awarded a place on the roofing and ancillary works lot.
Regional director at Seddon, Duncan Williams, said: “We have a long and proud history of working with housing associations and local authorities across the UK to deliver high-quality regeneration projects and are naturally delighted that we’ve been selected for this framework.
“Our appointment to two Fusion21 frameworks will allow us to further showcase our work and demonstrate our expertise in the market.”
This announcement follows a number of contract wins for Seddon, which was recently appointed by Salix Homes to deliver a £7 million tower block refurbishment in Salford.
Marketing manager at Fusion21, Sarah Whelan, said: “It’s a great achievement for Seddon to secure a place on two of our frameworks.
“Competition was extremely tough for both workstreams.
“All of our appointed partners like Seddon have clearly demonstrated they are best placed to deliver services on behalf of our members.”
