New Facilities at The Old Brewery Business Centre
People who normally work from home can now take advantage of a new walk-in and work facility at the former Castle Eden Brewery.
The Old Brewery is the latest business centre to provide facilities under a North East scheme to help rural businesses grow. In all 20 business centres - from Barnard Castle to Berwick-Upon-Tweed - have joined forces to create a network to help support and stimulate economic growth in rural areas. Known as the Castle Eden BrewHub it provides four workstations in the airy Atrium and state of the art facilities in the BrewHub business lounge.
Director Mike Sands says: “Our aim, of course, is for BrewHub users to grow, take on a member or two of staff and become full time tenants. We hope we can play a big part in helping them achieve their potential by providing a very accessible, and cost effective, way of benefiting from the location and the community which already exists here at the Old Brewery. While we are a rural location, and in a conservation area, we are also very close to the A19 so we hope to play a role in joining the other hubs in providing a service to rural businesses who can access our resources as they travel round the region.”
