Yes Peas! award Leeds’ Hatch Communications with promotional duties
Hatch Communication, a Leeds-based PR agency, has secured the helm of a promotion campaign known as ‘Yes Peas!’ after winning a six-way pitch.
For the past decade, the Yes Peas! Campaign has garnered great success in highlighting the versatility of frozen peas.
Hatch has been appointed by the British Growers Association to front all of the Yes Peas! Campaign’s national media relations and social and press office activity to promote the healthy aspects of frozen peas.
Hatch is already set to collaborate with TV chef and Yes Peas! ambassador, Rachel Green, to re-launch the campaign to the media.
Tim Mudge, commercial manager at the British Growers Association, said: “With the Yes Peas! Campaign being tendered for the first time in ten years, we looked hard to find a partner with experience in the FMCG sector that could deliver. Hatch’s fresh ideas and belief in the campaign impressed across the board and we’re delighted to welcome them onto the team.”
Jason Madeley, managing director at Hatch Communications, said: “The Yes Peas! Campaign is already highly respected amongst food journalists across the country. We’re looking forward to refreshing the campaign; shelling any myths around frozen peas and importantly, getting more peas onto the nation’s plates!”
