20 jobs created as Blackburn-based motor group Hippo expands
Blackburn-based motor group has been given the green light to expand resulting in 20 jobs being created.
The expansion will see a new building created to house more vehicle preparation bays and ramps for maintenance and repairs.
The new site is due to be completed in late September to October 2015.
A spokesman for the firm told the Lancashire Telegraph: “We have needs to increase capacity for valeting, mechanical work and also bumper to bumper bodywork.
“A new department to the company will be created in the form of paint booths.
“The three paint booths will pretty much complete the process of everything under one roof for the Hippo team. The total size of the building comes to around 12,000 square feet as well as parking spaces for over 100 stock cars, staff and customer parking.”
