UPS moves into new Skelmersdale industrial unit thanks to £52.5k Natwest funding

Property services provider UPS has moved into a new industrial unit in Skelmersdale following a £52.5k funding deal from NatWest.

Its new 3000 sq ft unit includes office facilities, training and conference rooms, storage facilities and a showroom.

The property maintenance company originally operated from Wigan.

The business employs 18 people as well as 20 subcontractors from across the North West.

Managing director of UPS, Andrew Wood, said: “Our business has grown significantly over the last couple of years.

“We required new facilities to better showcase our abilities and our support facilities for our clients.

“Purchasing larger premises permits the continual growth of our business.”

NatWest senior relationship manager Steve Walsh said: “I was delighted to support UPS with the move to new premises.

“The business continues to go from strength to strength and I wish the business every success for the future.”
