Welcome to the Zoo: New Creative hub opens in Monkseaton
There was green candy floss, animal crackers and the best of 90’s music as the Chairman of North Tyneside officially opened a new creative space in the heart of Monkseaton.
The newly refurbished office, known informally as ‘The Zoo’, has been developed by in partnership between Sales Training organisation Buzztastic Ltd, Digital Marketing Agency Captivation Media, and Copywriting Studio KISS Copy.
Chairman Tommy Mulvenna officially opened the office in a ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrated amongst local businesses.
He said of the venture: “I’m delighted to support the opening of this new workspace. Creative industries are becoming a major part of the economy in North Tyneside, and it’s a pleasure to see small creative businesses thriving in the region.
Steve Erdal, the Director of KISS Copy, said “All three of the organisations represented by The Zoo started out in back bedrooms across North Tyneside. This was a fabulous opportunity to become a bigger part of the local community. We are way, way more than the sum of our parts.”
Victoria Fleming of Buzztastic said “It’s great for us all to be taking this next step with our businesses, as well as building an opportunity for us to share our knowledge and enthusiasm - we’ve never had so many good ideas!”
Jess Wearn, Director of Captivation Media, said “I can’t wait to learn from my fellow Zoo-mates. We all compliment each other’s businesses really well and it’s a privilege to be sharing with Buzztastic and Kiss Copy; they’re such great businesses.”
