Major Yorkshire residential opportunities head for auction
A 2. acre residential development site in Bradford is heading to Eddisons’ forthcoming Leeds property auction with a guide price of £500k.
The site, which has already secured planning consent, consists of 57 dwellings.
Other lots being auctioned off at the sale, which takes place at Elland Road later this month, include a commercial investment on Cross Green Industrial Estate in Leeds.
The property on Knowesthorpe Way, which has a guide price of £350k and a potential gross return of over 24.5%, covers 0.83 acres and produces rental income of £86k per annum.
Also hitting the auction are two former Yorkshire care homes. Soothill Manor in Batley comprises 29 bedrooms and has a guide of £325k plus, and the 19 bedroom Egerton House in Kimberworth, near Rotherham, is guided at £180k plus.
In addition, a retail investment in King Cross, Halifax, producing annual rent of £29k and a residential investment in the same location generating £36k per annum are guided at £290k plus and £250k plus respectively.
A former service reservoir site, extending to 1.10 acres at Oliver’s Mount in Scarborough, will also be for sale with a guide price of £20,000 to £25,000.
Lastly, a fully let student investment in the Headingley area of Leeds producing £28.8k per annum is guided at between £260k and £280k.
