IKEA opens pop-up Breakfast in Bed café
As part of a brand-typical marketing stunt, IKEA is opening a pop-up Breakfast in Bed Café in - you guessed it - Shoreditch.
At the East London store, customers can reserve single or double beds and are served a Scandinavian breakfast that includes pastries, juice, and coffee, according to TIME Magazine.
Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.; from noon to 3 p.m. the beds are reserved strictly for napping. There will also be “sleep specialists” on hand to help customers maximize their slumber time.
Shoreditch has built itself a reputation for quirky, unusual eateries. In recent months, it has seen the arrival of a cereal café, a porridge place and a cheese toastie restaurant.
