Warrington fit-out company Morris & Spottiswood appointed to NHS Trust contractor framework
Warrington-based fit-out company Morris & Spottiswood has landed an NHS framework agreement with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The £74.4m turnover business has been formally approved to join the contractor framework for building, mechanical and engineering works.
The deal which began on May 1 will provide a three-year window to tender for contracts on NHS sites across Leeds.
Morris & Spottiswood North of England managing director Jon Dunwell said: “This is a significant step forward for our North of England operation as we look to develop our footprint in the health sector.
“The Leeds NHS framework agreement provides the entry point to compete for a broad range of projects including demolitions, construction, installation, removals and refurbishment work.
“The framework approval is a statement of credibility and an endorsement of the calibre of our services. “It also critically enables us to competitively chase down contracts up to the value of £2m.
“Inclusion on the framework does not automatically guarantee work, however we believe this agreement will be a strong growth generator over the next three years due to our sharp competitive edge.”
Morris & Spottiswood delivers projects in four key areas including fit-out, housing, mechanical and electrical (M&E) and maintenance.
The firm has offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Warrington and Leeds.
