Double Delight For Lancashire’s Top Young Carers
Preston-headquartered home care specialist, Community Life Choices, has seen two members of its team shortlisted amongst the region’s best young professionals at this year’s Young ’Uns Awards.
Thirty-six-year-old founder and managing director, Alan Frew, has been nominated for Entrepreneurial Young ‘Un, whilst 30-year-old home care coordinator, Chantel O’Reilly, is in the running for High Flying Young ’Un.
Chantel was also recently crowned the best home care coordinator in the North West at the Great British Care Awards and will join eight other regional winners at the national ceremony in June.
Hosted by Lancashire Business View, the Young ’Uns Awards recognise those aged 36 and under that are raising the bar in business.
A total of 13 trophies will be handed out on Friday 12 June during a gala dinner at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Community Life Choices specialises in the provision of five-star home care to adults and children in need of personalised health and social care services.
The double award shortlist follows a phenomenal year for the company, with turnover increasing by 150 per cent – during what was its fourth year of business – and is now on track to surpass its £2 million growth target for 2015.
Alan Frew, managing director of Community Life Choices, said: “We’ve worked extremely hard over the past four years to develop an enviable reputation for providing personalised care and support for children and adults not just in Lancashire, but across the UK and it’s great that our hard work and high standards have been recognised by the judges.
“Chantel has been part of the team since June 2013 and has made a significant impact in this time. She’s quickly established herself as a well-respected, highly-valued manager, always going above and beyond her call of duty.
“The entire Community Life Choices team has a real passion and love for what we do and winning all three awards would top off a superb 12 months, which recently included two major contract wins with Warrington Borough Council and Cumbria County Council.”
