Asons are nominated Best Business to Work For
Family Business Place have revealed the finalists for this year’s prestigious Red Ribbon Awards, which are the highest accolade for British family-run firms. Asons Solicitors are proud to have been shortlisted in the Best Business to Work For category.
This is the sixth year for the Red Ribbon Awards which recognise and honour dynamic and successful family businesses from across the nation. Asons made their first showing at the awards in 2014 when they won the ‘Customer First’ award and were also nominated in the categories of ‘Family Business of the Year’, ‘Entrepreneurship’ and ‘Fastest Growing Business’.
This comes soon after Asons’ placing at number 15 in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list and their retention of the Investors in People Gold standard. The Bolton-based firm also won the ‘Financial and Professional Services Skills for Business’ award at the Greater Manchester Skills for Business Awards 2014.
CEO of Asons, Dr Imran Akram said that: “we at Asons are truly honoured to be recognised once again by the Red Ribbon Awards, after our previous win and nominations in 2014. The Family Business Place do a fantastic job of reminding British industry that so many of our nation’s success stories are built on families that work hard together to help our economy grow and create much-needed employment opportunities.”
Amalia Brightley-Gillott, Awards Manager says: “family businesses are the lifeblood of the British economy and the beating heart of our local communities, employing 1 in 3 people. Despite their impressive contribution they are often modest and shy about publicising their achievements and so we founded the Red Ribbon Awards. This year’s finalists are a treasure trove of incredible companies who all excel in their field and are true beacons of British commerce.”
Winners will be announced at the Red Ribbon Awards ceremony and charity ball on July 10 at the Underglobe within Shakespeare’s Globe, London. Guests will be treated to a spectacular evening of fine dining, world-class entertainment and the awards ceremony itself.
