McAusland Turner get ready to celebrate!
It will be a very special day for Hull’s oldest marine surveying and consulting firm, McAusland Turner, when they open their doors on May 27th to celebrate an afternoon of nostalgia and new beginnings.
Select guests will be invited to celebrate the official opening of their beautiful new office location, overlooking the city’s historic Victoria Dock before being taken down memory lane with images and presentations to mark the company’s 125th anniversary.
It promises to be a pivotal moment in the lifetime of what is considered a globally respected and highly successful firm, whose ability to move and change with the times has meant it has been around longer than any of us can remember and is still being hailed as a trailblazer by companies looking to settle in the area.
Managing Director Albert Weatherill, who runs McAusland Turner alongside his brother Mike, helped by a strong team of master mariners, engineers and consultants, explains: “We live in very exciting times, what with global trading, sophisticated navigation systems and now, with the spotlight firmly on Hull, it seems only right that we mark our existence since 1888.
The cutting of the ribbon at our new dockside location is also very symbolic of our ability to embrace the new challenges 2015 will bring us, and hopefully the next 125 years as a company“.
Those lucky enough to attend this very important date in the marine calendar will be treated to a tour of the buildings by members of the McAusland team before sitting down to a celebratory dinner.
