North Yorkshire village’s only pub set for the market
The specialist markets team at the Leeds office of CBRE has been tasked to sell the relatively large White Swan public pub in the village of Minskip in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.
Due to its size, The White Swan is well-suited for a food/drink operator to re-establish the pub as a destination venue as well as serving the local community.
There is also ample opportunity to convert the pub’s barn and two car parks. In addition, there is a large paddock that may, depending on the planning, offer a residential development opportunity in the medium term.
As well as being the only pub in Minskip, The Black Swan offers easy access to the A1M, Boroughbridge, Harrogate and York.
Originally a coaching inn, the pub fronts the main road through the village with good levels of passing traffic.
Sam Frankland, director of specialist markets at CBRE Leeds, said: “CBRE is pleased to bring The White Swan pub to market. Located in the beautiful village of Minskip in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the pub is easy to access given its proximity to the A1, and offers a good opportunity to create a successful food-led village pub with the possibility of business trade throughout the day.”
